Another year has come and gone…
Another year we are back, demanding PEACE!

While the Red Rose is symbolic of Romantic Love, here it is used to symbolize spilled blood. The 1st. or root chakra, symbolizing begginnigs… “I am ”

The Blue corresponding to the 5th chakra, states “I Speak”

The broken up ink for the Dona Nobis Pacem, symbolize the yet not accomplished goal.

Hello, my friend…No way can I be the first to visit your beautiful peace post!!? Once I went on a retreat and had colour therapy, balancing the chakras. I was told I must embrace pink (as it was a colour I was always adverse to before…very hard seeing as I had two pink-loving girls!) and I have tried. Funny, each time I remind myself to open to it, something happens to me…I feel a kind of peace….

Well, I loooove your roses ( I know you say they are red, but they look pink on my pc screen :-)) and I love the way you have put your globe and message together. I still remember your beautiful, beautiful dove the first year of Blogblast4Peace…I think the most memorable globe for me that year, and unforgettable always!

Peace, especially, to you my friend. Peace and happiness to you and yours.

    Love, Annelisa x

    Hello Dear Annelisa:
I am not quiet sure if you are the first to visit, but you are certainly the first (aside form another long time blogger friend) to have left any word whatsoever, anywhere on the site! lol
    Pink?
Well, oh my, I used to dread it… until I got a nice leisure outfit from friends one Christmas. After I got over the horror, I noticed it actually looked good on me! lol

And, yes… pink is a “diluted with white” red… The photograph is actually from red roses. My camera gets “overwhelmed” with bright solid blocks of color and… results are not that great. With a little colour “manipulations” I got this reddish, pinkish magenta?
I guess with all that info in my head, symbolically is the red representing spilled blood…

I appreciate very much seeing you around.
Definitely miss the warmth and caring of the blogging community… fb is such “hit & run” affair!
    Love you sweetie!
